Some of them are truly amazing in both structure and substance. Reza Abbasi Museum

Reza Abbasi museum was built in 1979. The name is taken after a famous painter that lived in Safavid dynastyThis museum has object since ancient times till after Islamic era. The displays are set according to time interval. Reza َََAbbasi museum shows the objects in 3 floors. miniatures, calligraphies and rhytons are some of objects of this museum.

National Museum of Iran

National museum  is the most important museum of Iran in archaeology and history of Iran. Other museums of Iran usually refer to it as the Mother museum. Remnant of prehistory era, neolithic era and ancient Persia exist in this museum. There is two main parts in national museum; Islamic era and ancient era. Visiting it is just like taking a walk over thousands of years of Persia culture.

National Jewelry Museum

National Jewelry Museum is actually located in the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran. So basically the museum is in a huge vault. Crowns, diadems, jewelry, royal outfits and the famous diamond, Darya-i-Noor are just a few valuable attractions of this museum.

Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art

One of the most interesting museums of Iran is Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. This museum was established in 1977 by order of Shahbanu  Farah Pahlavi. The architect of this museum was inspired by desert wind catchers of Iran and performed it with combination of modern architecture. Artworks in modern art, abstract expressionism, pop art, minimalism, conceptual art and photorealism exist in this museum.

Omidvar Brothers' Museum

Omidvar brothers started their adventures in 1954. Their impresa was ” All different, All relative” .They  started this journey  with only 90$! They traveled to south America, Afghanistan, north America, India, Tibet, Southeast Asia, Australia, Alaska and Africa. In this museum, you can see souvenirs of all over the world. Omidvar brothers museum is actually a part of Sa’dabad Complex.

Sepah Bank Museum

this museum was established in 1963. It is one of the most complete coin museums in middle east. coins of all over the word and almost all ancient civilization. Sepah Bank museum can show you changes of culture and economy trough time. Ii is recommended to those who love to collect coins!

Carpet Museum of Iran

It is public knowledge, Persian carpet has world wide fame. Carpet Museum is a perfect score for knowing Persian carpet tissue. carpets of Tabriz, Mashhad, Shiraz and also Kilims are in this museum to amaze you. The building it self is like a “Dar-e-Qali”. It means carpet workshop. Some kind of early machine that Iranians knitted  carpets with it. 

Vaziri Caved Museum

Last but not the least, Vaziri caved museum. It is a compilation of art Creativity and art. This man made cave museum is the result of master Sculptor, Naser Hoshmand vaziri. Atmosphere and art works are things to remember. Shahnameh and Iranian folklore are main sources of inspiration for Mr Vaziri. Do not forget to visit this amazing museum.
