How To Get visa for Iran?
Since 2016 Iran visa obtaining, has been getting easier and easier. Visitors of Iran must obtain a visa from one of the Iranian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or countries eligible for a visa on arrival. Normally Iran Visa is done by Two ways:
1: Doing it personally by going to Iran embassy or by referring to e_visa.mfa.ir website.
2: Letting an Iranian travel agency do it for you.
Second way is easier and much effective. But if you are interested to do it yourself, here is a list of documents you need:
1) A scan of first page of passport

Second way is to let an Iranian travel agency take care of it. In this case, the agency will export an invitation for you. When the embassy approved the invitation, a confirmation number will be announced to the agency. Travelers can easily obtain the Iranian tourist visa or Iranian trade visa by visiting the Iranian Consulate and providing the Iranian visa – confirmation code from the agency to the traveler. Validity of Iran visa is 90 days and you may stay in Iran about 30 days. If you wish to stay more, you can extend your visa in +10 police office.
Which Documents Do You Need to Get Iran Visa on Arrival(VOA)?
1. A valid passport with at least 6 months validity
2. A confirmed return ticket within a 30-day timeframe
3. A photo to be attached to the Iran visa application form
4. An invitation letter or hotel reservation voucher. The invitation letter has to be sent from the Iranian travel agency to Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs at least 48 hours before your arrival to Iran airport.

Persons who may have dual nationality should announce their nationality based on your passport that they wish to carry. Iran no longer affixes visas to passports nor stamps them on entry as a response to the US sanctions on persons who have visited Iran after 2011.
