Who is Hafez Shirazi?
Hafez was born in 1315 in Shiraz. In his worth full lifetime he became a world wide poet and one of the world‘s most famous lecturers. There is not much information about his family and his life, and Hafiz‘s poems can only be the authoritative source of his life as there is little evidence of his personal life. According to his poems and some valid sources, he has been born in a family with an average economic level in the society of his time and is known to Hafiz as a teenager. (Hafez means memorizer)
It was in the 18th and 19th centuries that his poems were translated into European languages, and his name came to the literary circles in the Western world.
